Hallett on board
A lifelong Argyle fan, based in the US, has joined the club’s board after investing a “substantial sum”, the BBC reports.
Simon Hallett, who went to school in Plymouth but is now based in New Jersey, said that he was “absolutely thrilled” to be involved with the club.
Hallett’s associate, John Morgan, also joins the board.
Argyle chairman James Brent will keep his majority shareholding and has not sold any of his shares.
