Argyle dropped out of the automatic promotion places for the first time since September after Luton left Home Park with three points.

Jack Marriott’s 27th-minute goal was enough to inflict Argyle’s sixth home defeat in the league this season.

Argyle enjoyed most of the possession and created the majority of the chances – but they couldn’t find the net.
