Argyle 0-0 Newport

Argyle’s losing run came to an end – but Newport were able to hang on for more than an hour with only 10 men at Home Park.

The goalless draw means that the sides will meet again on Wednesday 21 December – with the winners earning an FA Cup Third Round trip to Liverpool.

The visitors had Sean Rigg sent off in the 23rd minute for a challenge on Jake Jervis.
